With the job market the way it is, unemployment has been a very controversial subject.  While the majority of people on unemployment are eager to find a job, there are several that try to milk the opportunity for “free money.”

We occasionally have applicants with absolutely no experience or background in the field for which they are applying.  We also have an affiliate who stated that 50% of the people she schedules interviews with do not show up.  We cannot help but wonder why these people even apply.  It is likely that some of them are applying to every possible job they can find in hopes of getting hired (not a strategy we would recommend).  Another possibility is that the salary offered may be more than what they are making, so they figure it is worth a try.  However, there is also another suspicion. VBScript Developer

On the mortgage servicing platform for a major financial institution there are a significant number of manual steps in the processes which need to be automated. These manual steps include the use of MS Excel including macros, MS Access and SQL look ups.  The objective is to replace the manual processes with automated VBScript (JavaScript can also be used but that is not preferred).

This is for the second phase of the project “Claims Enhancement” in CareFirst FEP ASU. The mission for this second phase is to further build out the recently deployed FEPThin application. The overall goal is to refine the existing application, apply additional enhancements, and comply with Federal mandates slated for 2011. The Tech Lead/Senior Developer in this project will assist in the development of the overall application enhancements, and provide hands-on support/leadership to develop and implement the 2011 deliverables.
